Having visited La Chatre many times over the last few years we had often thought about buying a little house here to renovate and use when visiting, so after finally finding our perfect home we decided to visit L'Escargot and celebrate with what has always been recommended as the best place to eat locally. We were 11 2 children arriving after booking table same day. We were warmly welcomed and the restaurant were very cosy. No guests except us. The waiters were a little nervous and it took some time until everything was ordered. Food was ok but nothing special. Since this restaurant have a red fork/knife I expected more.
