Partly because it was next door to the excellent Azur Hotel in which we were staying but mainly because some of the dishes were outstanding even when compared to some served by two and even three Michelin starred restaurants in the UK. Alexandre offers a great view over the marina and the sea, a beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. The food, however, was not outstanding, especially when considering the high price.
