We have been 3 days/nights in Lecce and we went to Alex Ristorante 4 (four!!!! times. It is simply the best for us. It 's the atmosphere, it 's the service, it 's the quality of food, it 's the boss with eyes everywhere and it 's his nice wife he is hiding in the kitchen as the Chef of the kitchen. If I could I would rate this a 3+ or a 4- because while the food and table service was good, the time between courses (45 minutes) was intolerable. It was like we were in a strict preset seating and we arrived before everyone else. Our first course came out quickly, but then the restaurant filled up quickly and it was if they reassigned all the line cooks to their first courses, leaving us to wait while they caught u...
