Myself and my fiancé felt the starters were really nice (I had the squid and he had the halloumi) and we both went for the steak which was very nice! We both felt the portions were perfect size! This kitchen must get away with inconsistent quality because the hotel hosts so many first time and non-repeat diners. A £34 rib-eye, ordered medium, arrived very much overdone. The replacement was neither medium nor medium rare, but “bleu”.It was “good in parts” for me as I like rare beef, but those parts amounted to only about half of the steak.
