Tucked away it's easy to miss the Creperie Beaurepaire but it's well worth seeking out in the centre of Lille. We had no reservations and the main dining room at ground level was packed but down some steep steps in the large brick vaulted basement, once a storeroom perhaps, we got a table for two. The crepes are gluten-free (great) but we found the consistency quite dry. Also our crepes came only a few minutes after we ordered and they were somewhat burnt at the bottom, which makes me suspect they weren’t fresh. They almost certainly prepare them in advance snd reheat them at the last minute. They really should be made fresh. Staff was friendly enough.
