great place for a meal in vieux Lille. Small, intimate restaurant, but tables nicely set away from each other. Very nicely decorated to give period charm, lovely ambience. On the Rue Gand, you take a wild guess as to where to eat, and l thought things would be fine here, because both the young man (manager? and the lass behind the bar gave big smiles and welcomed me in. I only fancied a steak and a glass of wine; the steak was tough and the salad was unwashed (crunchy and bitty when chewed . I asked for a glass of chardonnay and l am pretty certain it wasn't.
