After popping in for lunch a few weeks ago we booked Sunday lunch this sunday and used some vouchers from xmas. I had the trio roast other half had lamb. Food was very good and great service.Having had a poor food experience at a different Greene King a while back. This has changed my opinion and I'd definitely recommend and will visit again. dog lovers stay away. they are antihounds. many other pubs in the cotswolds welcome dogs more than them. unfriendly chef etc. and staff. many pubs allow dogs in the bar, not these. I have been going to the red lion for years and tried to support them in the winter months when the business is down. even if they dogs allowed in the bar, but never go over the threshold again.
