I would have eaten in the tartne manufactory in san francisco, so I was curious about the opening of the same in los angeles. the Tartine family was not disappointed. we had a nice lunch and yogurt and look forward to dinner. of course are also bread and baked on the list. it was fabulous eating in a beautiful space. two of us ordered the grilled cheese sandwiches and did not like them at all. we thought the menu was a little limited to beside dishes, but ordered the potato chunks and they were very salty and not great. we were also disappointed in the limited selection in the bakery.
