We had lunch in this restaurant when visiting Les Halles de Lyon. We had the plat du jour which was honey sauce pork with potatoes that day and it was really good. Fundamentally there's nothing wrong with this place and for an inexpensive experience at the market it's fine. Why am I being hesitant then? Maybe because this is Lyon, home of French gastronomy, moreover this is in a fancy and expensive modern indoor market carrying the revered name of M. Paul Bocuse and so I expect more.
