This New York bakery in Chicago is located in Block 37 on the State Street side. His signature red velvet cupcake is as good as advertised. But chocolate cheesecake is a must for all who like rich dark chocolate. What they call icebox is essentially cold versions of cakes and the most important lime cake versions of it is strongly recommended. This place is not cheap. What Gluten L doesn't like about Magnolia's Bake Shop:
I've only been there once and was told they have no gluten-free options. That's ridiculous in this day and age. I know we live in a small town, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that has to eat gluten-free or chooses to. This place has been in business for a very long time and should expand its menu. A historical part of magtown. It's been there since WWll. They make pretty good cakes and pies....
