Stopped here on our Sunday weekend train excursion. Restaurant was full, but they found us space (my 9yr old son I). I had the gammon, egg chips while my son had the chicken goujons off the children’s menu. Both meals were tasty, substantial and well presented. Such a huge disappointment…..drove from Southend to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was a plate of over fried mush…. A vegan platter a huge bowl of olives, peanuts and toast not pitta bread) a few fried falafel frozen) and humus.
