We found ourselves in Clifton-upon-Teme by accident but visited the Lion Inn because we needed a stiff drink and maybe something to eat. The Inn is dog friendly and the young staff are friendly, capable and efficient. In the end we only ordered a bowl of chips but they were the best chips we had eaten in ages.
