Had a fantastic lunch here with my family. Excellent oysters to start I went for 2 varieties which were served on a mini boat full of ice great touch. My main dish, a John Dory, was superb. Chatting with the locals over lunch it is clear that this is the best seafood restaurant in Marennes and certainly my favourite. Having read reviews and decided to go for a special meal on a girls holiday we were so disappointed with our meals. Three of us had Wok de Boeuf which was very tough and incredibly salty. They found it totally inedible. Two of us had the risotto and veal which was ok but a very strange mixture of ingredients. The sauce was very sweet which didn’t work with the risotto at all.
