After a short hike along a Levada we made a stop at this cafe. We enjoyed the typical pancha a local drink with Organe juice, honey and a sugar cane schnaps. Great view and very friendly staff although we invaded the place with View all feedback.

This is the common pick-up point at the end of the Levada walk from Referta to Castalejo. Little bar. Some simple exterior seats. While you go the Levada you see vines grow the Americano grapes that is disease-resistant used to make the local version of Madeira wine. The sweetness is good, the dry is a little rough. Good coffee plus a lot of 125ml glass of wine for €3:50. View all feedback.
