I accidentally found this place in Matsumoto. The owner is an amazing cook. His speciality is actually sashimi and tempura. I have the set-dinner and have to try a little bit of everything. Only an amazing place, with great local selection and also the interior of the restaurant is quite impressive. Highly recomend it, they also havr English menus. View all feedback.

This restaurant was recommended by lonely planet travel guide. Ordered what seemed to be a higher end meal sashimi and tempura with rice soup hot sake. Sashimi portion was on the smaller end, the tempura has been outshined in the local train station, and the soup was hot but not so flavorful.
