Claypots is a lovely, friendly place to have a bite to eat in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It is conveniently located, has quite a pleasing menu and a reasonable drinks list. There was the added benefit of live music in a relaxed and pleasant setting. After being seated we were seemingly forgotten for the next 20 minutes without any water or any drinks. My partner had to flag down a member of the kitchen staff to take our order. The Clam Ham chowder was watery, not like a typical chowder, i suspect it was microwaved. My partners Paella was cooked within an inch of it's life, soggy taseless barely edible.
