Dined here for a work function. Service was excellent. Finger food was delicious, especially liked the arancini balls. Asked for medium rare for my Angus beef scotch fillet, but arrived too well done. Had the dessert plate of 3 enjoyed the jiggly panna cotta and passionfruit tart. For a moment I thought l was back dining in 1988! Overstuffed, stiff and formal and the food was average at best. Clearly popular with the (advanced white collar set, Matteo 's appears to be a restaurant to be seen in rather than enjoy the experience. Ravioli was chewy and the sauce, heavy.
