Small latin restaurant with lots of flavor! Went to Mawi for the second time and shared a couple of plates with my friend. The owner gave us a couple of recommendations. We got: Pork Tamale: yummy! Birria Tacos: very flavorful and delicious to dip in the broth Chicharron and Queso Pupusa, Spinach and Cheese Pupusa: these were both good but I preferred the chicharron ones! I was excited to try this restaurant but I was very disappointed, first of all is a very limited menu, I think a food truck has more options Tasteless food, got a baleada and I got store bought tortilla.... pupusas have no taste will Not be returning anytime soon I don't recommend How do you called yourself tortilla and your baleada flour tortila is not made from scratch.
