Today we enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch at the Red Lion. The roast beef in particular was excellent. And a special mention for the salted caramel brownie with Devon clotted cream. Such a friendly welcome and real ales on draught. View all feedback.

Was booked in by the owner of our guest house as they hadn 't got a chef that night. Reputation was pretty good but we noticed that they had a large family booking which seemed to take precedent to the average punters. The family were also noisy which didn 't help but the main issue was the service which was a little 'hit miss ' i.e. had wrong order etc. They tried to rectify but I couldn 't be bothered to be honest....
