We had a meal as a couple to celebrate our anniversary. Restaurant was empty when we arrived at 6pm so service was speedy. Food came pronto and was authentic, fresh and tasty, portions not huge and we thought just right. Bottled Chinese beer was cold and yummy. Would go back for sure thank you View all feedback.
What HardyHuckle doesn't like about Old Shanghai:
It was freezing in the restaurant and there was no heating except one very small electric heater. The portions of food were tiny and the amount of soy sauce provided (only on request) was a few drops in an even tinier receptacle. When I asked if I could please have some more, I was told that there was enough flavour in the food. View all feedback.
