Our experience was so delightful and delicious that I asked if there might be an apartment to rent upstairs. The bagels, lox and eggs, the pastrami, and coffee are better than my delicious memories of NYC. Even more delicious than the food are the courteous, playful personalities of everyone, everyone we encountered. Kohn's is on our permanent “must-stop” list for our St. Louis visits. Im not Jewish but have always loved kosher food. Born and raised in long Island NY, I'd always eat at Hebrew national restaurants. Once moving to STL, i was delighted to find Kohn's. Once you make eye contact with the owner, you get special attention, he will force feed you for free, you have to say, No more. Im so sad the owners are selling but wish them well. View all feedback.
