We visited Au Pain Perdu on rue de la Roche on a Wednesday noontime in late September. The restaurant was not full and we were seated quickly. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. We ordered two omelettes: one off the menu — the Campagnarde (a vegetarian option with mushrooms, peppers, red onions, spinach and cheddar cheese) — and the other being the omelette of the day. Omelet was greasy, hard to digest. Luke warm coffee at $2.50 extra. other breakfast places includes coffee. Crystallized packet sugar.... brown and white. Absent “ run around “ service. Crepe not bad but over soaked in syrup. GREASY AND DIRTY floor at 11 am. Squeaky rocky table. Not worth the time nor money. Neither the food nor the decor nor the service were up to standard.
