I did not eat a meal at Opal, but were a few times a glass of wine or 2 and some amazing myer lemon cream brulee. The best I ever had!!! Flora at the bar is always knowledgeable and ready to help me choose the right glass when enjoying wine. Opal is a wonderful place and I enjoy every visit when I visit Charleston read more.

Had 7:45 reservations, and hostess said there will be a wait. When I asked how much of a wait the hostess said they are still on their entrees. So glad I made reservations, I asked her to give us a table as there were tables available. She said we don’t sit 2 at a table of 4. It’s not my problem, I made reservations. Our waiter was good. Drinks took forever to come out. Not sure if I will return as the food was ok. read more.
