we had a great brunch experience at gathre. we sat at the bar and the bartender, john, was amazing. I had the lobster benedict and my bf had the burger, both were great. it was a little busy, and at one point came the manager, kevin, behind the bar and began to help the bartender what I liked because I didn't often do that in nashville (I am a native). What User doesn't like about Gathre:
eating is too expensive. the mac and the cheese were watery. the new potatoes had a sweet coating that went with nothing on the menu. the sweetness that came with the pot roast were raw (potatoes and brussels). the meat ball came with garlic toast, which had been cooked in a toaster of with raw garlic, which was cooked over the garlic and so bitter that it ruined the entire plate. the scallops were over boiled, rubbe... The current list of dishes may be expanded on site to include seasonal specialties and weekly recommendations. In addition to a variety of dishes, the menu also offers a variety of beverages and typical house dishes. Additionally, the list of dishes also takes into account dishes and ingredients that have been commendably highlighted by guests, even if these have not yet been recorded.

In nice weather you can even have something in the outdoor area, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. A counter with bar stools is available.
