Very enjoyable meal with a family of 7 and two dogs. Offered a private dining room which was very nice and comfortable with the dogs . Service was excellent throughout, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The lemon tart was the best I can remember eating. This was our first visit to The Anchor which is about an hour from our home, but we will certainly visit again when we are in the area. View all feedback.

Nice location but the food and service was disappointing. Firstly the waiting staff member had no clue what beers were available and our drinks order took ages to come. Two out of the three drinks ordered were wrong .We had to chase the original drinks order several times to eventually be served . We were asked to order meals before our drinks arrived .
