This place was very very good. A classic small off the beaten path establishment with a terrific atmosphere and clientele and good food. Horrible, poor quality food. Mac and cheese looked and tasted like it came out of a Kraft box. My chicken sandwich was gross and the salmon was raw, despite asking for well-done. Very poor quality ingredients at premium prices. I’m really unsure how this places has stayed in business since the 70’s in New Canaan of all places. Fine as a bar, not as a restaurant.
