Yuba is a small restaurant in the East Village that usually offers a quiet and pleasant dining experience. However, on a recent visit, the noise level was higher than usual, impacting the overall ambiance. Despite this, the food and service at Yuba are consistently good. The menu features delicious sushi rolls and appetizers, with the server providing helpful recommendations on portion sizes. The quality of the fish is excellent, and the prices are fair for the area. Regular customers appreciate the fresh sushi and consistent service at Yuba, making it one of their favorite spots in the neighborhood. With attentive staff and a menu full of tasty options, including unique dishes like California Uni and truffle salmon sushi, Yuba is a solid choice for a sushi dinner in the Big Apple. Overall, Yuba offers a top-notch Japanese cuisine experience with delicious food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere that keeps diners coming back for more.
The restaurant can be referred to as one of the top spots of its customers. This can be inferred from the average review of 4.7.
What Alina likes about Yuba:
We got the edamame and rock shrimp for the appetizer. For sushi we got 2 classic rolls including spicy blue fin tuna, crispy white fish roll and Yuzu signature roll. All delicious and filling. The service here is spectacular where the server asked us how hungry we were and recommend the right amount of rolls to share. I enjoyed the setting for it was simple. They had a wet hot towel to start. The appetizers and rolls... View all feedback.
What Cora Walter doesn't like about Yuba:
The food and service at Yuba are always quite good. It is usually fairly quiet, too, and I appreciate that. This time, however, Yuba was rather noisy. It 's a fairly small restaurant, and two noisy tables made the whole restaurant energetic, to say the least. Too bad, as that level of noise made the whole dining experience less pleasant.
