This is a nice, traditional pub with lots of pictures of, or related to, the Iron Duke and Waterloo. I don't know about food, because we only went here for drinks in the evening. They had a selection of a few excellent cask ales, including Landlord and Wadworth 6X, both outstanding. Unfortunately, they were weak on the locals at the time when we went, at least. Had a drink in this pub recently. Went straight to the bar then looked for a seat, there were plenty but all were stained and filthy. Unfortunately we needed the loo and the toilets are disgusting, black mouldy walls, floor covered in what we hoped was water . From the outside it’s looks like a nice old traditional pub.
