While staying in Newcastle, I took my vegetarian girlfriend for a meal and was recommended to go here by a veggie colleague. The surroundings are pleasant enough. Lady who served us seemed disinterested. Both of our pizzas were covered in some sort of oil slick which seemed to be acting as a means of hiding the lack of flavour.
