I was dinning solo while awaiting a friend to arrive to meet me in Nice. Had passed by this little gem a few times during the previous day. Decided to go for a bite and some champagne and was so happy I did. I love this place, the atmosphere, staff, food and wine were lovely and worth the visit. Incredibly rude and not at all French manner from staff in here. Both myself and my partner had experiences of staff being utterly rude to us (separately as I went to the toilet when we arrived) before we had ordered a drink or spoken to anyone. Horrifically rude on such a basic level; no eye contact and shouted at. Decided to go back to our hotel for a drink instead and didn’t order a wine. Shame it looked so nice. read more.
