What ian m likes about New Rendezvous Chinese:
We were staying at The Diamond so on a wet night it made sense to pop next door for dinner. We had the special meal on offer for the quieter nights of the week and very good it was too. There were two youngsters serving both well supervised by a very efficient lady in charge. Turning to the food, this was excelent and perfectly presented. Not cheap but good value nevertheless. We have been before to this restaurant and the food was lovely, however it was some time ago. We were looking for Sunday lunch and as the restaurant opened at 3.00pm on Sunday we decided to give it a go. Wish we hadn't bothered, deep fried chicken breast, deep dried more like, resting in cold soy sauce. No moisture at all in this chicken.
