Since the pub has been under new management it's been great going in there. Always a friendly welcome, nice relaxed atmosphere and can have a good laugh. I've eaten a handful of times recently and the food is amazing. The chunkyist chips in town! I recommend to anyone who hasn't been to defiantly give it a go. Sunday carvery is a must to try. Poor attitude towards staff with little to no respect for people who work behind the scenes of making your meals and time here pleasant. The landlord swears left , right and centre in-front of small children and they fire staff like no tomorrow.
