We stumbled into Trattoria del Buongustaio after our first choice was closed. What a find. Very family, very local, very good food and service. A terrific antipasti buffet with lots of vegies and marinated seafood for 7 euros per plate. Recommended by the bartender in our hotel, this family trattoria was a huge disappointment. Garish lighting, news on the tv in the corner, hovering wait staff, and uninspired food. Not the gem we were promised. My mom’s dish was burnt and we were the only people in the restaurant on a Saturday night when other places were bustling.
