In tourist trap alley leading up to Notre Dame cathedral (closed and totally walled-off following the tragic fire and surrounded by tat souvenir shops (how many little plastic Eiffel Towers are there in Paris and who buys them? . We were in need of some “sanctuary”,...drinks and crepes and selected this cafe/restaurant on the basis of its name and memories of Charles Laughton’s famous movie lines. We had half an hour...
