Me and my wife visited Paris in April,and while exploring the Belleville and Ménilmontant area we stopped off for lunch.The Restaurant was very busy and the waitress explained there would be a long wait.This was not a problem after spending few hrs walking around Pere lachaise cemetery.Food was excellent and the wait was delightfull sitting watching the real Paris street life pass us by. I visited this restaurant 2 or 3 times a few years ago and it was unfailingly great food in a really good atmosphere. Imagine my disappointment the other week that it has been refurbished to look like any other anodyne restaurant(which I coud have forgiven) and the food is bland, bland, bland, which I cannot over look?
