For a city laughing like me; most of the island of man feels like a hidden gem and the boatyard is excellent among these gems. Unfortunately, my experience with fish restaurants is missing, but this restaurant inspired me to find new seafood experiences. I was really looking forward to the meal at the Boatyard having heard so much about it. Was with 7 others on a Wednesday night and were asked to order in advance which was fine. My starter of smoked salmon was ok bur the main seafood gratin was such a disappointment. Completely dry and with no sauce i managed less than half. Also, vegans are taken care of here. The restaurant offers a large selection of meals, in the preparation of which completely animal foods are avoided, and even has gluten-free dishes on the menu list.
