Being Malaysian I tend to gravitate towards Malaysian cuisine when I can and this place was a real gem. The char koey teow is as it should be and the chicken rice is delicious too. Surrounded by a lot more fancier looking places to eat, you probably would easily walk by and not even notice Tak Chee. The Malaysian food served here is not pretentious.
