This really wonderful restaurant is in a small town next to Thiers and about 10 minutes or less from the autoroute. After Clermont Ferrand and well before St.Etienne, we stop off here every year (a trip we normally make twice a year) while heading south. A restaurant that would like to be “big”. Yes, the decor is there but the quality of the dishes is not. The fries are oil pumps cooked in a single cooking, the amuse bouche (a poor wrap spread with I still don't know what) the same in the evening and the next day at lunchtime, the fish offered the same.... lots of show but nothing good.
