I will always LOVE Prantl's a different location did my wedding cake! I was in this neighborhood, saw a Prantl's and knew I had to go in. I grabbed a burnt almond torte bar and a salted caramel cookie and both were absolutely delicious. I was so disappointed by my experience here. Given their reputation, the store itself is underwhelming both in decor and design though I will say the server was very nice. I bought half a dozen giant cookies at an obscene price and would have been happy to have done so until I bit into one. ALL of them were ROCK HARD; both the oatmeal and the chocolate chunk.
