It is one of the jewels of downtown Pittsburgh undoubtedly and I am nowhere near biased because I was never and I am not a local. Now it wasn't my first choice because I went to brunch, but it was packed and the staff at this other place wasn't for a new customer when they had some outdoor seating. Wasn't a bad place. The bartender wasn't really all that personable. He gave me a crazy look because I asked if he could change the vodka in one of their signature drinks. For anyone who drinks vodka you probably know that Amsterdam is one of the worst Vodkas. The perogies were excellent.
