xitaka was one of the few restaurants open on Sunday during our visit to soa miguel (sept. 21). and we are glad we found this restaurant. we were a group of 4. we all had another main course. everything cooked to perfection and very tasty. Great octopus and service. However, whatever you do, do NOT order cod. It was the worse cod we have ever tasted (chewy and definitely not fresh) . The day’s special fish was tasty (but not better than in any other restaurants in Ponta Delgada). It was also extremely small and the cost was 30 euros.
