The pub itself is smokey and small, but you can sit outside or in the restaurant. The onion rings, chips and broken fish are simply incredible. In fact, now that we had her, the hunt begins to find everything so delicious. Rich portions! The best onion rings and broken fish, and these chips... super friendly service. It’s very difficult to screw up Fish and Chips, but this “restaurant” (I use the term very loosely) managed it. The fish was very soft, indicating old fish (definitely not fresh). The batter on the fish was soggy and the chips were soft and slimy, not crisp; both indications that the oil used to cook the food was not hot enough and the food wasn’t adequately drained after cooking.
