I think this is the best jazz club in portland. fabulous local talents each night with international names regularly fall into the schedule. great food and drinks with excellent service. book them early, it is a small and intimate place and it is sold out regularly. really love the fact that they have live jazz. very expensive but: $30 for a 1 hour 15 minutes show plus $20 minimum food and drinks per person. unsafe, like vieh for a show, no reserved seating, no back on some of the chairs and limited menu, $50 a person for 1 hour and 15 minutes feels like a price gouge. we love jazz and enjoy it at many local events, but was really shut down by this.
