We were in Potsdam for the afternoon and when we went into the bank on the pedestrian street, they recommended this place for great food and said it would not be crowded as it is two blocks away from what was a crowded pedestrian zone....We were not disappointed and definitely recommend this restaurant for great food, quiet and good service and a nice ambience. Yes the beer is okay and the staff less unhelpful than some of the reviews here would imply but the food we had was less than inspiring. All I can think is the regular chef was away. My suggestion is go one street over and there are a wealth of more interesting looking places to eat. read more.
