We came for the Halloween spooky woodland walk, which was fun, and stayed for an early tea. It's a lovely setting, the bar was nice and cosy, and the service was excellent. We went to do the Halloween walk and had lunch first. The homemade pie was excellent, the children's chicken was good but rather expensive for a child at over £8. The head waiter wore his mask just around his mouth only, not covering his nose. There was plenty of space around our table. We had to wait ages to pay. A little short if staff I think.
