We stopped for lunch after exploring Rennes on Easter Monday it was a bank holiday so little was open, but we were glad to find this place. On the set menu, we had rare roast beef with tartare sauce on toasted bread with a green salad, served with cornichons and a little salami. Delicious! View all feedback.

Living in the area I have tried l'épicerie several times. The food is ok, but the service is consistently long. Today we were ignored for fifteen minutes on a relatively empty terrace, tried going to the bar only to be told that service was at the table and someone was coming to take our order, another five minutes later we finished by leaving (no one noticed).
