It's always worth in France looking in the sidestreets for places to eat, away from the big establishments. We got a friendly welcome at Le Bocal and the food and wine was of a very high standard. Rennes has masses of places to eat but it's always good to happen upon one where the locals go themselves. It was packed on a Thursday night, a good sign. Highly recommended. read more.
