The last time I visited this pub was about 10 years ago when there was a one man karaoke show loudly singing Coolio Gangsta's Paradise. Very strange experience. My Mum had heard that the food was now very good and with a little bit of trepidation I decided to give it a go. We travelled 6 miles to get to this pub and was going after a reccomendation, anyway after arriving at 6.30pm on a Sunday evening, we found the place closed and in darkness..... upon speaking to a neighbour before we left, she informed us that it was open earlier, but in their infinite wisdom they had shut for the evening as they did not think they would get any trade.
