Richmond is a pretty little village and worth the drive from Hobart especially when there are places like Ashmores on BRidge Street...Only a small restaurant but in a lovely old building with thick sandstone walls on the main street. Outside is an imposing 19th century building whilst inside are two cosy rooms for dining. Whilst the orders were taken promptly, water was not offered and the lunch orders arrived some 25 mins later.
