Overall a nice stay. The hotel is a large old villa with quaint and traditional decor. The rooms are very large and spacious. We appreciated the fact that the room and bathroom were very clean. Sometimes old buildings like this can be musty but this wasn’t the case. The grounds are beautiful with a swimming pool, tennis court and a very well equipped gym if you are into fitness. I have been to this hotel several times for events and have stayed. This old villa is better suited as an event venue than a hotel. The food is pretty good, but not spectacular. They seem to be focused on their events, so for part of the year the rooms are not available on the weekends for travelers. The wifi is unreliable, but views and gardens are spectacular.
